Blac Salt is an oyster bar in the heart of NYC. The oyster bar aims to present a classic NYC restaurant the system is classy but with nuance.

In process I developed a distinct pattern to create brand recognition. This pattern represents the unpredictability of the sea where oysters are found. The serif type used is sleek but also reliable. The tight connecting letters in the wordmark are attention grabbing but also comfort in how the fit together naturally. The menu has subtle nods at the rough sea and has a NYC typographic style.
